KYNF was able to convince the DOE that Jackson’s proximity to the INL was close enough that we should have air monitoring stations located here. So, through the INL and the Environmental Surveillance, Education and Research Program (ESER) contractors, Jackson has been included in the network of air sampling stations since 2002.
