Keep Yellowstone Nuclear Free, a Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation

Mission Statement

Our mission is to elevate public awareness of the threat of nuclear contamination from incineration and to stop the proposed nuclear incinerator at the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory.

We will achieve this mission through:

  • Encouraging every person who lives in or visits this region to become educated on the issues of nuclear contamination;
  • Working closely with schools and healthcare facilities to study and better understand the impacts of nuclear contamination;
  • Disseminating information through the media, public meetings, the medical community, local businesses as well as other broad-based community organizations; and,
  • Providing funds for legal recourse.

We will endeavor to grow a network that will bring together the various interest within our community and therefore, provide a consensus of opinion to the governmental agencies on the issues of nuclear contamination.
